The KP is the most popular Australian mango and arguably the tastiest. Of all the mango trees grown in Australia, it is the variety that is most likely found in the suburban backyard. When grown with the right care and conditions the tree produces juicy, sweet mangoes bursting with flavour.
Unlike some mango varieties, the KP is not very stringy so you don't get as many of those annoying fibres stuck in your teeth! They often have yellow skin with an orange to red blush, which is lighter or darker depending on the growing area and conditions.
