Tangelos have a unique flavour that is a cross between a mandarin and a grapefruit. They are in-between the size of an orange and mandarin but have elongated necks, which distinguish them from other varieties.
Tangelos are traditionally juicier than an orange and easy to peel like a mandarin. The variety grown by Seven Fields is the Minneola, which originated in the United States and is where their popularity spread.
