Produce Marketing Manager

Brett takes a lead role in serving both our domestic and export customers in sales of citrus and mangoes. In this role Brett has an intimate knowledge of what is happening on the farms, in the packing sheds and in the various markets to better ensure Seven Fields can meet its customers' expectations. Brett joined Seven Fields in 2007 in the role of Asset Manager. He holds an MBA, which specifically includes studies in strategic marketing and financial management. He has also attained a Bachelor of Agriculture Science with Honours. His previous employment was with Costa Group as a national supply manager for fresh produce, which gave him direct experience and contact with supermarkets' supply chains, wholesale markets and growers. Brett has extensive experience negotiating prices with buyers and suppliers, implementing strategic marketing plans, managing sales personnel throughout Australia, and overseeing the daily sourcing, supply and sale of produce nationally.

Produce Marketing

Simon works with Brett Jackson in the produce marketing team, as well as continuing with asset management responsibilities on Seven Fields' wine, table grape and almond properties. Simon joined Seven Fields in early 2006 on work experience and has since progressed through various roles in the company demonstrating his versatility and skill with each new set of responsibilities he assumes. In recent times Simon was located in Mildura where he worked in a hands-on role in a large scale table grape operation and acted as a liaison between Seven Fields' citrus orchards and the packing shed. He has also spent time on location at the mango operation in the Northern Territory. This on-farm  and packhouse experience means Simon is well placed to step into a marketing role as he clearly understands the Seven Fields supply chain. Simon completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne in 2007.
